The Second Step

Hi everyone!

I feel like all I ever write about nowadays is about COVID. But, I am so so excited to announce that we will be back in clinic at full capacity from tomorrow morning Mon 19th of Oct 2020 as we are now able to welcome and accept all patients with any podiatry concerns.

Of course, we still encourage telehealth to help limit travel and safety of our community where possible.

We still remain stringent with our infection control protocols and still will continue to ask for you to:

  1. Fill out the covid screening form sent to your emails prior to your appointment

  2. Wait in the car for an SMS for when we are ready for you

  3. Wear a face mask into the clinic

  4. Use hand sanitiser upon arrival

Infection control measures that we have put in place following COVID-19:

  • Spacing out our chairs in the waiting room to ensure appropriate distancing;

  • Hand sanitiser is recommended to be used before and after your appointment and lives in the waiting room as well as next to your treatment chair;

  • Removal of towels and pillows (will not be using them at all, sorry if you don’t feel as comfortable as usual!);

  • Wiping down all doorknobs, pens and the EFTPOS machine after every patient;

  • We ask that you wait in your car for a SMS when we are ready for you to come in;

  • If your complaint does not require for me to be hands-on, I will recommend for us to do an telehealth consultation instead

Infection control measures that I upkeep pandemic or no pandemic:

  • Adhering to the 5 moments of hand hygiene (and more);

  • Opening my consulting door for you;

  • Wiping all my surfaces with medical-grade sanitisation wipes in between each consultation;

  • Only using sterilised instruments;

  • Wearing gloves when treating your skin and nail care;

  • Wearing a mask during treatments;

  • Vacuuming in between each consultation.

Thank you for all your patience during this time. We are looking forward to being able to look after you and your family!

See you in clinic soon,

Jasmine
