I am writing this blog after Dan Andrew's address this afternoon as to what was going to happen with allied health services during the stage 4 restrictions.

At this time, they have denoted that all allied health (including Podiatry) is still essential. They have also recommended that all allied health are now to wear protective eye wear as well as face masks when treating. As most of you know, I wear glasses when treating, but I will also be trying to source an extra face shield as well to wear on top of this as soon as possible. You do not need to wear a face shield AND face mask - this is just for me for your protection. For those I visit at home - I will also be wearing a disposable apron to your appointments.

Please remember to fill out the health and wellness screening forms (sent with your appointment reminder email) prior to your appointment to ensure everyone's safety.

2 Right Feet Podiatry is also normally open until 8:30pm on Thursday, but due to the curfew instated, we will now be closing from 7pm until further notice. Please book in your appointment accordingly to where you live, so you can ensure that you get back home on time before curfew.

If you live over 5km away from the clinic, yes you are allowed to come for medical concerns. We will be providing appointment cards as physical proof of appointment, as well as the normal reminder SMS and emails will serve as a soft copy proof of approved travel.

If you are uncomfortable or prefer or need to self-isolate, we are still offering telehealth online appointments for all patients. I can still send referrals for radiology and provide you exercise rehab updates over telehealth. If you need equipment, if you are within 5km from us, I can organise delivery for you.
